AHK Designs, the owner of Beds.co.uk and furniture retailer Cox & Cox, has purchased bathroom retailer Victoria Plum.

According to Sky News, the deal was completed through a pre-pack administration, with all of Victoria Plum’s workforce of more than 300 employees transferring to the new owner.

Endless, the investment firm that owned Victoria Plum since 2019, had put the brand up for sale.

The company faced challenges from rising global freight costs and reduced consumer spending, which have affected profitability and cash flow in recent months, said those close to the business.

AHK Designs, whose affiliate Giomani Designs owns a number of online retailers, is said to have paid several million pounds for it, according to the report.

EY handled the sale and pre-pack.
