Miss Selfridge

An Arcadia brand that sits alongside the likes of Topshop, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and Evans, Miss Selfridge states: “Glamorous, feminine, sexy and sociable, the Miss Selfridge woman is relevant, credible and confident.”

The young women’s fashion retailer has its roots in the iconic Selfridges store and, as well as operating stores worldwide and through its online presence, its products are also sold through other retailers such as Asos.

The “sociable twenty-something” Miss Selfridge customer is mobile savvy and, as such, the brand is pro-active across social media, recognising the digital space as a key source of its customers’ inspiration.

In 2019, Arcadia owner Sir Philip Green closed its flagship London store as part of a restructure to rescue the group. The group has also indicated that Miss Selfridge will switch to selling predominantly online in the future.

In May 2019, Arcadia said it planned to put the property holding company of Miss Selfridge and Evans into administration.
