Kurt Geiger

Kurt Geiger has established itself as an authority on designer footwear and accessories for women and men since opening its first store on London’s Bond Street in the 1960s. Named after its Austrian founder, the shoe retailer now owns three bands – Kurt Geiger London, KG Kurt Geiger and Carvela Kurt Geiger. It also has teenage and children’s ranges Miss KG and Mini Miss KG. It has a high-end market position, pairing aspiration with accessibility. It also benefits from a celebrity following thanks to its fast-fashion approach. In 2018, the retailer had around 60 standalone stores in the UK and overseas. It also has an extensive presence through concessions in some 145 stores around the world. Kurt Geiger is currently working towards creating a single view of its customer and stock. It is also transitioning its omnichannel capabilities to bring the business “up to speed” and has three main areas of investment: improving its omnichannel backbone, warehouse automation, and developing digital stores.
