Yoox and Net-a-Porter

Yoox Net-a-Porter is an Italian online fashion retailer, created in 2015 with the merger of the Yoox Group and Net-a-Porter Group. The etailer sells luxury fashion and accessories, similar to competitors Matchesfashion and Farfetch. It now operates three main online business streams: multi-brand in-season clothing on Net-a-Porter.com and MrPorter.com; multi-brand off-season clothing on Yoox.com and TheOutnet.com; and runs around 40 online flagship stores on behalf of luxury brands. The group has offices and operations in the UK, the US, Europe, Japan, China and Hong Kong and delivers to more than 180 countries around the world. YNAP is committed to innovation, constantly pushing new ideas through to keep the business at the forefront of the online fashion community and “setting the standards by which others follow”. This drive comes right from the top, with chief executive Federico Marchetti saying he has been “obsessed” with mobile since making it a priority 10 years ago.
