You can swipe along a huge colourful screen to see if the trainers you’ve been eyeing are suitable for your foot arch, you can pick up a latte in-store after you’ve tried on a few t-shirts and you can even slip into a chair and have your hair done while you explore blow-dryers.
Electricals giant Currys has hailed a “positive start to the year” and said it is “well set” for the pending peak trading period as sales at the electricals giant increased.
The chief executive of Currys, Alex Baldock, has said the government should cut or reduce the VAT on refurbished electricals to keep electronics out of landfill.
Retailers are constantly looking for new ways to reach consumers, gain loyal customers and boost sales.
