Unilever

Unilever is a leading global consumer goods manufacturer, founded in 1929 through the merger of Dutch margarine producer Margarine Unie and the British soap manufacturer Lever Brothers.

There are more than 400 brands under the Unilever umbrella, both international brands such as Sunlight, Dove, Knorr, Wall’s, Magnum, Hellmann’s, Vaseline and Cif, as well as local hero brands such as Brooke Bond in India and Brilhante in Brazil.

The company operates through three divisions: beauty and personal care; foods and refreshment; and home care.

In recent years the company has taken a stance on sustainability and delivering brands with a purpose, aiming to deliver growth while serving society and the planet.

The company was headquartered in both London and Rotterdam, but has recently made the decision to move to the Netherlands.
