Founded as TJ Maxx in the US in 1976, UK subsidiary TK Maxx and sister company HomeSense are owned by US-based TJX Companies, the world’s largest off-price clothing and homewares retailer. TK Maxx stocks branded men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, footwear, lingerie and accessories, as well as homewares, luggage and toys. Some stores feature Modbox, a department specifically geared towards younger customers, and Gold Label, which features high-end designer labels. The HomeSense product offer comprises home basics and an eclectic range of furniture and decorative products for home and garden.
