Figleaves is to add a consumer product research tool to its web site to complement its existing ratings and review service.
The Ask & Answer tool lets customers post and respond to specific questions about products on the site. It will be hosted and moderated by the e-tailer’s existing ratings and reviews service provider Bazaarvoice.
Questions and answers will be displayed alongside product information. Figleaves hopes that the additional information will encourage visitors to stay on its site, rather than looking for further product information elsewhere on the internet.
Figleaves online merchandising director Catherine Hall said: “Ratings and reviews have been a hit with Figleaves’ customers, so we feel confident it’s the right time to introduce more community functionality. We expect our customers will find the information that Ask & Answer will provide very valuable.”
