Mobile phone network operator Orange is understood to be poised for an overhaul of its stores and operations under new chief executive Tom Alexander.

Alexander, who started as chief executive of Orange UK in January, is understood to have told staff that there are a lot of changes planned to put the company at the top of its game, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The plans include a revamp of its 338-store chain and further expansion. It is also set to ditch its slogan: “The future’s bright, the future’s Orange”.
