Property News - Bedford revamp team appointed

Bedford Borough Council, the East of England Development Agency and English Partnerships have joined forces to promote the regeneration of Bedford town centre.

Consultant GVA Grimley has been appointed to lead the project, which will take nine months to arrive at a master plan for the redevelopment of key town centre sites.

Bedford Borough Council chief executive Shaun Field said: 'This important strategy is a key element of our long-term plan to regenerate and revitalise the town centre, and enable it to play its proper role in supporting growth in and around Bedford.'
