Delhaize sales fall

Sales momentum improved at Delhaize's US Food Lion and Kash n' Karry stores and comparable sales in Belgium were 'good'. However, total third-quarter sales were down 7 per cent to EUR4.7 billion (£3.24 billion), because of the weakening of the dollar against the euro.
