Sainsbury’s group like-for-like sales, excluding fuel and including Argos, were up 2.6% in FY2022, driven by grocery, as sales growth strengthened throughout the year. Group sales, excluding VAT and including fuel, increased by 5.3% year on year to £31.5bn in FY2022, while retail sales, excluding VAT, grew 5.1% to £31.0bn in FY2022. Retail sales excluding fuel and including VAT rose 2.0% to £28.7bn.
