Online retailer The Very Group is launching a new platform dubbed “Beauty Inspiration Hub” driven by its new tech overahul through its cloud-based system.

The hub consists of a range of “educational and aspirational” blog-like content to change how customers shop for beauty.

The launch arrives after the retailer unveiled its Beauty Studio earlier this year, set out to transform how customers navigate and experience Very Group’s beauty range.

It now allows customers to shop by trend, ingredient, and brand, changing the way the retailer talks about beauty while providing a simpler, more enjoyable shopping experience.

The Beauty Inspiration Hub will be launched in the summer

The Very Group says the hub “wouldn’t be possible” without its new cloud-based system Skyscape, the biggest tech transformation the retailer has taken on.

The overhaul meant it re-platformed the technology for a better customer experience, and the Beauty Inspiration Hub is the latest feature to be launched in the summer.

It will provide expert tips and put a spotlight on trends for customers to make more informed purchases.

The Very Group has been focused on expanding and diversifying its beauty offering through a broader range of brands and products. It has seen a 6.3% growth across this category of the first half of the 2025 financial year, and data shows that beauty is becoming more recognised among customers.

The Very Group chief commercial and strategy officer Sam Wright said: “We know our customers are busy and are looking for quick and easy ways to find the perfect products for them.

“Our innovative new beauty hub housed on Skyscape will allow us to give them inspirational and educational content in a convenient and easy way. This means customers can shop with greater confidence and more readily find the products they love.

“The vast majority of our customers who buy from our beauty ranges also buy from other categories. However, even though brand consideration for our beauty category is up, just one in seven fashion customers shop Very’s beauty ranges. We hope that the launch of the inspiration hub will educate our fashion-first customers on the wonderful beauty ranges we have available.”
