Beth Lowry has been appointed as head of creative direction at Very Group’s in-house creative agency

HelloStudio, the agency launched in April by the retailer, now has a new head of creative direction.

Beth Lowry brings over 20 years experience in the creative industry in the UK and US, where she was responsible for enhancing brand vision through curated content.

Her most recent role saw her at Target in the US, playing an integral role in the creative vision of the retailer, while working closely with external agency partners and leading in-house creatives.

Lowry’s new role will see her help shape the in-house agency’s vision and join head of creative management Julie Phelan on campaigns and productions.

Hello Studio provides a multi-channel creative service, accessing Very’s rich shopper insight with hundreds of data points on every customer.

By bolstering the latest technology, it can offer tailored content to connect brands to their customers.

The Very Group chief customer officer Jessica Myers said: “Our internal creative team has been a huge source of pride for over 70 years and today HelloStudio is creating award-winning multi-channel content for household brands.

“We have strong foundations, and having Beth join the team to offer new, fresh ideas and direction to accelerate our ambition is really exciting. I can’t wait to see how her experience and eye for detail will bolster our creative offering through HelloStudio.”
