Trinny Woodall has been named an ambassador for the British Beauty Council

Trinny Woodall, founder and chief executive of cosmetics brand Trinny London, has been named an ambassador along with the global beauty and wellness director at British Vogue, Jessica Diner.

They will work with the council on a new roadmap and apply their expertise in beauty brands, media, entrepreneurship and more to “guide the organisation’s activity and amplify its good work.”

The appointments coincide with the launch of the council’s new pillar of “investment, innovation and technology”.

Woodall has been a staple of the British fashion and beauty industries and founded Trinny London, one of Europe’s fastest-growing beauty brands.

Diner has been a part of Vogue since 2007, and was chosen as an ambassador due to her “unique expertise and a holistic awareness of the beauty industry”.

On her appointment, Woodall said: â€œThe power of beauty is limitless. At Trinny London, everything starts with an emotional connection—and no industry is as deeply personal and connected as beauty.

“We are thrilled to be part of an organisation that uplifts British beauty founders and the wider community, and proud to represent British beauty on the global stage.”

British Beauty Council chief executive Millie Kendall added: â€œI am delighted that two industry powerhouses are joining our esteemed board of ambassadors.

“I am delighted that my team and I can tap into their knowledge and insights as we navigate our next roadmap, and we can work together to continue to raise the reputation of the industry.”
