Grocery inflation slows as record May temperatures drive grocery spending

Grocery inflation slowed again in June as record temperatures in May helped drive grocery sales.

It said the easing inflation offsets “concerns about the impact of the conflict in the Middle East filtering through to Britain’s supermarket shelves”.
