Carrefour and Dixons Retail-owned Pixmania in France have signed a strategic agreement in the non-food product segment. Under the agreement, Pixmania will develop and deliver a multichannel website in a number of European countries for Carrefour’s non-food offer.

Pixmania will also support a marketplace platform for Carrefour customers to access a range of additional products from third party merchants. Carrefour chief executive Lars Olofsson stated: “This new partnership marks a major step in the development of Carrefour’s multichannel strategy.”
