The owner of B&Q and Screwfix said it was appointing Eve Henrikson to its board of directors, effective from September 1, 2026.
Henrikson is senior vice-president of trips at travel website Booking.com, with her remit covering the growth of “travel beyond accommodations”. This involves overseeing global teams inclusive of strategy, commercial, product and technology divisions.
She previously led the Uber Eats delivery business across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, and has also worked as managing director, Online at Tesco.
“Eve brings significant expertise in managing consumer-facing digital enterprises across the retail and technology sectors. Given the strategic importance of ecommerce to our business, we are delighted to welcome someone of Eve’s calibre and experience to the board,” said Kingfisher board chair Claudia Arney.
“We look forward to her contributions to the work of the Board as we execute our strategic priorities.”
The retail group also announced that, effective tomorrow, current non-executive director and former Home Depot executive Bill Lennie will become a member of the company’s renumeration committee while also retaining his board position.
