Fashion retailer Mango and value retailer Flying Tiger Copenhagen have started recruiting for festive roles as it gears up for a Christmas rush.

Flying Tiger told Retail Week exclusively that around 415 temporary staff will be hired with varying contacts over the Christmas period across the UK.
Meanwhile, Mango is hiring 120 new seasonal sales assistant roles in the UK across its nearly 60 stores.
Seasonal sales assistant roles at the fashion retailer will run from October to December, and new staff can also access staff benefits such as 35% discount on all Mango items, as well as learning and development opportunities.
Temporary staff may be given the opportunity for full time roles and access international career opportunities in the 120 plus markets Mango has presence in.
The retailer is also set to launch 20 new stores in the UK in 2025 and recently saw global turnover of €1.73bn (£1.5bn) in the first half of 2025, which was up 12% year on year.
Mango UK and Ireland international regional director Fiona Cullen said: “Our people are at the heart of Mango, and we’re looking forward to welcoming 120 more into our store teams during this festive season to help us deliver the best experience for our customers at this special time of year.
“These roles offer valuable experience, great benefits, and the chance to be part of a global fashion brand at an exciting time of growth.”
