The Co-operative has introduced a new product range to reflect the British seasons.

The range, called Taste the Seasons, aims to cash in on the growing desire for seasonal foods.

The winter range is in stores now and includes products such as lentil and smoked bacon soup, deep fill steak and stilton pie, and beef stew and dumplings.

All the products in the first range are designed to be “winter warmers”, including soups, traditional casseroles and pies.

Prices range from £1.65 for a soup or two for £3, pies are ranging from £1.70 to £3, or a rhubarb and custard cake is £2.09.

The Co-op embarked on an ad campaign at the start of the year, urging customers to shop locally to save time to do something better.
