99p Stores has rolled out an EPoS system to 116 stores in just two months.
The software from Futura has replaced the retailer’s previous Torex EPoS system, and has been installed at the same time as replacement touch screen tills from Digipos.
The system was chosen by 99p Stores because it will allow the retailer to move stock around the business quickly, and for its allocation and replenishment capabilities. The company will also make use of the system’s reporting and analysis tool to gain better visibility of margin trends, daily sales and shrinkage rates.
99p Stores commercial director Hussein Lalani explained that he will also consider introducing new services to stores using the system: “We shall look at Futura’s customer loyalty programme and e-gift card facilities to improve the customer shopping experience.”
