Feather & Black has launched a transactional mobile website.

The bedroom furniture retailer said it is putting more focus on m-commerce and will use GPS technology to show customers their nearest store and the latest deals in their area.

The retailer said it had identified a need to give its customers the ability to research and purchase while they are on the move.

The number of people accessing the site from a mobile device has grown by 337% over the last six month.

Feather & Black founder Adam Black said: “It is really important to us that we are delivering what customers need, not only in terms of product and quality but also service. We always want to be up to date on how our customers choose to shop and our website must reflect this.

“These new enhancements will reinforce our multichannel offering and give our customers what they need in terms of user friendly access when they are out and about.”
