Home furnishing giant to open 24 stores in 12 months
Ikea is planning to open 24 stores in the next 12 months, worldwide, creating 10,000 jobs.

Stores will open in countries including Russia, China, the US, Italy, Spain and France. Stores will have the average floor size of up to 322,915 sq ft (30,000 sq m) and will be staffed by as many as 400 people.

The plans will maintain the pace of Ikea's global expansion, which averages at 20 store openings per annum.
