Upmarket designer Ralph Lauren is launching its Lauren range exclusively in the UK at House of Fraser stores in February.

Lauren, launched in 1997, has previously only been sold in the US but will be available in 25 House of Fraser stores. The move means all of Ralph Lauren’s ranges will now be available in the UK.

The womenswear line has a lower price range than Ralph Lauren’s main collection and certain pieces will be made exclusively for the European market. The range will also launch at Spain’s El Corte Inglés and France’s Galleries Lafayette.

Ralph Lauren’s European business has doubled in the past five years and is now worth over US$1 billion (£667 million).
