Hunkemöller said Brian Grevy brings “inspirational leadership, team orientation, strong humility and empathy” to the business

Grevy will also join the executive board and is set to take over from Mountford on January 31. Mountford is stepping down after leading the business for 15 years.

The lingerie retailer said Grevy joins with “extensive experience”, having previously been chief executive and chief marketing officer at Gant as well as holding senior roles at Adidas.

During his time at Adidas, Grevy was “instrumental” in developing the retailer’s ‘Own the Game’ brand strategy in 2020 when he led the organisation and contributed to “revolutionising their brand architecture, consolidating categories and rejuvenating the innovation pipeline”.

Hunkemöller said Grevy brings a combination of “inspirational leadership, team orientation, strong humility and empathy” to the business.

Grevy said: “I feel honored and humbled to take on the role of CEO of Hunkemöller.

“I look forward to fulfilling the full potential of the Hunkemöller brand and business, working together with my fellow leadership team members and our highly qualified, experienced and passionate extended team.

“My focus will be on continuing to build on the core strengths that brought us to where we are today and connecting them closer to where our consumer is moving – through creating and implementing a fully integrated, service-driven consumer experience, which will lay the foundation for us to successfully deliver our next chapter of growth.”
