Its strongest week for online searches was between December 14 and December 20, with December 23 becoming the single biggest in-store trading day.

Gift set sales increased 4% compared with last year, but online demand for sets soared 62% over peak. Gift sets represented 16.8% of total Perfume Shop sales.

Personalisation services were also popular. Online personalisation rose 23.47% year on year in December, with gift wraps, personalised ribbons and engraved bottles all increasing.

The Perfume Shop managing director Gill Smith said: “Christmas 2025 has been a good and exciting period for us. With over 1.5 million bottles sold, growth in gift sets, and significant uplifts in personalised ribbons and wrapping, it’s clear that customers are looking for thoughtful, high-quality gifts, and they trust us to deliver them both in-store and online”.
