Primark has teamed up with Disney to launch its largest retail experience for the Mickey Mouse owner in Europe, Retail Week can reveal.

The high street giant has opened a 3,892 sq ft shop-in-shop dedicated to official Disney merchandise at its store in the Val d’Europe Shopping Centre, located just outside Disneyland Paris in France.
Customers will be able to shop an expanded range of plush toys, fashion, homeware and accessories at Primark’s low prices.
The space features a bespoke fit out and includes collections from its Disney, Marvel and Pixar ranges.
Primark said the launch marks another major milestone in its lond-standing partnership with Disney, which begain in 2011.
It also follows the success of the retailer’s store in Orlando, Florida, which opened last year and has a whole floor dedicated to Disney products.
Primark global director of license Sarah Jackson said: “Primark has developed a strong and successful collaboration with Disney over the past 14 years, becoming one of the largest retailers in Europe for official merchandise.
“The opening of our new Disney destination at Val d’Europe represents another strategic step for Primark, creating a unique experience for fans visiting the park and beyond.
“With an expanded product offering and dedicated space inspired by the wonder of Disney, we’re certain it’s going to be a huge hit with our customers.”
