Founder Krissy Cela previously said the goal was to have Oner Active stores by 2026

A property source explained that Oner Active is among the pureplay brands looking to open permanent bricks-and-mortar stores in cities across the UK.

The brand has never opened a physical store, but did launch a two-day showroom pop-up in New York in May, and a press event pop-up in London in January.

Founder Krissy Cela told Retail Week in March that the goal is to have retail stores by 2026, with an ultimate goal of having a retail space with a gym on-site.

She said: “Oner is all about community, so why not do that in a space that you can control in the form of an Oner shop.”

Its most recent financial results for 2024 showed a huge leap in sales growth, rising from £49m in 2023 to £80.8m in 2024. Profits also reached £8.3m for the year.

Oner is among several other online pure plays seeking out physical retail opportunities.

Shein will open six concessions across France, starting with an opening on the sixth floor of the BHV Marais in Paris.

Fashion brand Omnes is also planning to open up to 15 new stores over 12 months, Retail Week revealed in October.

Retail Week has approached Oner Active for comment.
