Aldi has partnered with chef Jean-Christophe Novelli to create a series of pop-up restaurants in five cities as part of its Christmas campaign.

The discount supermarket and Novelli are visiting five cities to offer customers the chance to secure a table for a luxury Christmas meal by ā€œtweeting to eatā€.

Up to 50 people in each city will eat Christmas dinner made from products from Aldi’s Specially Selected range with wines from Aldi’s Exquisite range.

The pop-up events will take place at restaurants in Glasgow on November 21, London on November 24, Newcastle on November 26, Manchester on December 1 and Birmingham on December 10.

People can win a reservation for themselves and a friend by visiting Aldi’s Twitter account and telling the supermarket why they should win using #AldiFestiveFeast.

Aldi’s joint managing director of corporate buying, Tony Baines, said: ā€œOur Christmas pop-up restaurants are just a taster of what can be achieved at home this Christmas time. Jean-Christophe Novelli has put together a luxury menu that shows off our festive range to the full and offers better value than other supermarkets. We hope that our consumers will enjoy it.ā€

The move is part of Aldi’s ā€œEveryone’s coming to us this Christmasā€ campaign.
