Wilko will close the last of its remaining stores next month.

Administrator PwC has announced the final 111 stores in a follow-up to an announcement earlier this week.

More than 200 sites will be left vacant after no buyer for the entire business was found, but rival value retailers B&M and Poundland have taken on more than 120 sites between them.

The Range has bought the Wilko brand, website and intellectual property, while retailers including Aldi, Lidl and Dunelm have been reported as taking over the former Wilko sites.

Around 10,000 people are expected to be made redundant following the closure of these stores.
