- Translineâs finance boss has been asked to appear before Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee
- Transline previously questioned by MPs regarding working conditions at Sports Directâs Shirebrook warehouse
- Unite is also expected give an update on working conditions at Shirebrook during the hearing
Sports Direct employment agency Transline will be brought before MPs again to discuss the use of agency workers by British companies.

The agency, which was embroiled in the scandal surrounding working conditions in Sports Directâs Shirebrook warehouse last year, has been asked to appear before the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Committee.
Translineâs finance director Jennifer Hardy, who was questioned by MPs during last yearâs parliamentary inquiry regarding working conditions, is set to appear before the committee.
Hardy will appear before the BEIS committee alongside Unite general secretary Steven Turner, GMB general secretary Tim Roache and Resolution Foundation senior research and policy analyst Lindsay Judge, according to The Times.
Unite is expected to give an update on working conditions at Sports Directâs Shirebrook warehouse during the hearing.
MP scrutiny
Since working practices at Sports Direct came under scrutiny by MPs, Transline has also come under fire over working conditions at Asosâs warehouse in Barnsley, although the fashion retailerâs chief executive Nick Beighton refuted the allegations.
The employment agencyâs deal with Amazon was axed by the online giant earlier this month.
Transline receives around ÂŁ20m a year to supply workers to Sports Directâs warehouses, despite MPs urging the retailer to cut ties with the agency last September.
