Wilkinson has reduced the costs of developing and sourcing products after going live with a supplier management system.

The system, provided by TradeStone Software, is giving the general merchandise retailer key performance indicator measures on its UK and Far East based suppliers to improve their performance and the quality of their products. The upshot should be fewer returns and improved customer satisfaction.

Wilkinson’s UK and Hong Kong offices have full visibility of supplier report cards, giving them greater control over the supplier audit and factory evaluation process.

Previously they were reliant on multiple databases and spreadsheets to try and record and track this information.
