Beauty retailer Sephora has hit a milestone in its growth journey by opening its 10th UK store.
The 4,618 sq ft store opened at Manchester’s Arndale centre on Friday (August 1), its second in the city following the Trafford Centre opening in May 2024.
The city was chosen for a second opening due to its vibrant shopping scene and population of tourists, workers, students, city dwellers, and locals.
To avoid people queuing overnight, the retailer said from August 1 to 3, every customer who makes a purchase will receive a beauty bonus card with the opportunity to win one of eight prizes on the spot.
Prizes include a Sephora goodie bag and a mystery lucky dip. Free Benefit wax and tint brow services redeemed at the Arndale store only, free 30-minute makeup services at the Arndale, exclusive Sephora merchandise, and 10% off code redeemed at the Arndale.
Sephora relaunched in the UK in 2022 with its first store opening in Westfield London back in 2023.
Sephora UK managing director Sarah Boyd commented: “We’ve been blown away by the energy and support from our community at every store opening since our first in 2023.
“As we continue to grow, we want to ensure our events are as welcoming and inclusive as possible. This new approach means even more customers can enjoy the fun and walk away with a surprise, without needing to arrive hours before doors open.
