Sephora is opening its first store in the South West of England after signing a lease with property giant Hammerson.

The beauty retailer will open in Bristol’s Cabot Circus shopping centre as part of its ongoing UK expansion and will open in the spring.
Sephora is aiming to have 20 stores in operation in the UK by the end of 2026, following recent openings in cities including Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and London.
Sephora UK managing director Sarah Boyd said: “Bristol is a city that thrives on creativity, individuality and self-expression – values that sit at the very heart of Sephora. We’re thrilled to be opening our doors in Cabot Circus, bringing our world-class beauty experience to a vibrant community that celebrates art, innovation and culture.
“We can’t wait to meet Bristol’s passionate beauty lovers and share the latest trends, brands and experiences with them.”
Cabot Circus records around 17 million visits per year and serves around 3.6 million people. The new Sephora store follows the opening of a flagship M&S store and other openings.
Hammerson director of leasing and commercialisation Paul O’Brien said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Sephora to Cabot Circus and we know customers will be too. Securing this beauty powerhouse underpins Cabot Circus’ leading position in the South-West and underscores the demand for our prime city location.
“It builds on a series of carefully curated new arrivals across retail, food, drink and leisure. These brands are choosing to grow with us in the heart of Bristol, drawn to our location and catchment across the city and beyond, enabling the best and latest experiences for our customers.”
