Macy's name to dominate
US retail group Federated Department Stores announced last week that it will convert all of its regional department stores to the Macy's nameplate in January. The move spells an end to its regional department store names, which at present include Burdines-Macy's, Goldsmith's-Macy's and Bon-Macy's.
