BoConcept UK stores get facelift to consolidate after JD Group exit

BoConcept has revamped its surviving UK stores and introduced a new strapline, 'my home - my way', as it regroups following the exit of former South African owner JD Group.

JD sold the master rights for the loss-making UK business back to original Danish owner Club 8 Company in June.

Profitable shops in London, Bournemouth and Glasgow remain open and have received new treatments, including fresh visual merchandising, to coincide with the launch of the 2004/2005 catalogue last week.

BoConcept has 140 stores worldwide and will seek franchise partners and department store tie-ups to re-build the UK chain.
