Retail Solutions - Kenzo links its 270 boutiques with Vanco VPN

Parisian fashion house Kenzo has acquired a virtual private network (VPN) service to link its head office with 270 boutiques in department stores in the UK, France, Belgium and Spain.

The company previously relied on dial-up links with its points of presence, which were expensive and unreliable. The VPN is based on broadband links set up by telecommunications specialist Vanco.

Kenzo chief information officer Didier Hemono said: 'Vanco has given us a flexible solution that meets our budgetary requirements, yet still ensures a high level of service.

Vanco acts as our single contact point and has assumed full responsibility for managing the network, leaving us free to concentrate on other matters.'
