Property News - Christ's lets London units

Christ's Hospital, the educational charitable foundation established by King Edward VI in the City of London in 1552, has bought two prime retail units totalling 26,000 sq ft (2,415 sq m) on Uxbridge high street in northwest London. They are let to Superdrug and JJB Sports until 2018 at a combined rent of£395,000 a year. The purchase price of almost£6 million reflects an initial yield of 6.25 per cent. The vendor was a consortium of private investors who were advised by Churston Heard. Drivers Jonas advised the purchaser.
