New online clothing retailer Organic Boutique will launch its transactional website on March 20th.
The e-tailer has pledged that not only will its products be 100 per cent organic and affordable, but that they have also been produced with as much care for the environment and society as possible.
All products will be shipped by sea in order to reduce carbon footprint and packaged with recycled or biodegradable materials.
The first collection will be 100 per cent organic cotton and denim and all fabrics are purchased only from suppliers certified as organic by theGlobal Organic Trading Standards (previously known as SKAL) to ensure genuine organic content.
Organic Boutique said its factory is also ethically approved, and it has ensured suppliers get a fair price for their cotton crop.
