Gymshark is set to open its first US flagship on December 13 as it continues its expansion Stateside.

The 13,000 sq ft store at 11 Bond Street, New York, spans across three floors and stocks the brand’s core and best-selling activewear ranges.

The flagship features a liberty green colour scheme throughout and provides a nod to the financial district, with tickers showing the latest news, offers and updates.

Gymshark said the store’s cash registers take inspiration from the city, with the tills housed in subway cars.

Shoppers will have access to the brand’s 1-2-1 shopping service throughout the store and be able to shop exclusive merchandise in bespoke bodegas.

The third floor features a dedicated space for community activations such as athlete meet-and-greets, live podcasts and panel talks.

The flagship launch follows the opening of Gymshark’s first permanent outlet at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island last month and its wholesale partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Gymshark retail and wholesale director for North America Mitch Healey said: “In the entirety of Gymshark’s existence, two things have remained constant – the gym, naturally, and community.

“I don’t think any city in the world places as much importance on community quite like New York. So, when it came to opening our flagship here, we really wanted to honour that. The store has really been designed with two things in mind.

“When you walk through the door, a) you know immediately that you are in a Gymshark store and b) you feel the community vibe that this city is so famous for. We’ve done a lot of cool stuff in New York, but I’ll be honest, it’s all been leading to this. I cannot wait.”
