Dunelm has drafted in the former boss of George at Asda, Fiona Lambert, as its new product director.

The homewares business, which is led by former Dixons Carphone, Apple and Monsoon Accessorize exec John Browett, is thought to have announced the appointment to head-office staff on Friday.
Lambert spent eight years working within Asdaâs George fashion and homewares business, before being promoted to run own-label brand development at the supermarket.
During her time at the Walmart-owned retailer, Lambert relaunched Asdaâs home range, sparking a jump in sales in homewares.
Lambert told the Daily Mail: âThere are great opportunities in the home market and Dunelm is in the perfect position to capitalise on them.â
Lambertâs appointment comes less than two months after Dunelm acquired etail rival Worldstores â including the Worldstores, Kiddicare and Achica brands â in an ÂŁ8.5m deal.
