Over 400 new skincare and make-up products from Estée Lauder will become part of Marks & Spencer’s portfolio this month. It builds on the success of the Estée Lauder Fragrance at M&S.

The growing product lines available with the retailer is part of M&S’ focus on the growth potential in its beauty category, with Estée Lauder identified as a key brand to enhance its beauty proposition.

Estée Lauder will be available on M&S.com and in 17 stores such as Bluewater, Cribbs Causeway and Fosse Park. Those stores will have a dedicated Estée Lauder counter with expert advisors present to assist customers.

Customers can explore “targeted, high-performance skincare” as Estée Lauder connects advanced skincare into its make-up to ensure skin is cared for.

The total number of third-party brands available in-store and on M&S.com will now be 53. Third-party brands now make up over 40% of total sales in M&S Beauty.

M&S head of beauty James Mugford said: “We’re delighted to build on the strength of our partnership with Estée Lauder, by offering make-up and skincare. As we continue to reshape for growth, our focus is on combining the strength of our core beauty offer with carefully selected third-party partners as we seek to become the trusted editor for Beauty.

“We’re confident that the addition of Estée Lauder make-up and skincare will complement our existing beauty offer and support us as we continue to broaden our appeal, helping us become more relevant, more often, to our customers.”

Estée Lauder vice-president and general manager Luke Evans added: “We are thrilled to partner with M&S, a trusted and growing beauty destination, to bring our iconic products to M&S customers in the UK.

“Grounded in our night science leadership, skin tone authority, and fragrance expertise, we are excited to deliver our best-in-class products and an elevated, high-touch experience to M&S Beauty halls nationwide.”
