Boots is launching knickers produced by Mary Portas.

The health and beauty specialist is stocking 10,000 pairs of ‘Kinky Knickers’, produced in a factory in Manchester as part of the TV retail guru’s new series Mary’s Bottom Line on Channel 4, which airs later this month.

Portas has won listings at Liberty, M&S and Selfridges for the British-made underwear. Portas said Alliance Boots health and beauty chief executive Alex Gourlay is “an experienced retailer and will easily shift them”.
