Morrisons slashes prices on hundreds of everyday products

Over 650 items will see its prices cut, including key lines such as chicken breast fillets, laundry pods, vegetables and enchilada kits.

Prices will be reduced by an average of 19% and remain of promotion for around four to eight weeks.

Morrisons said it’s the next step on its journey to help make household budgets go further ahead of potential additional spending leading up to Christmas.

The price slashes will be advertised across TV, print, digital, and in-store signage will help customers find reduced items.

Morrisons pricing and customer director Alex Paver said: “At Morrisons, we believe great quality should be affordable for everyone, and we know that the cost of everyday products really matter to our customers right now. 

“That’s why we’re cutting the prices of over 650 items, from fresh favourites to cupboard staples, so our customers can trust they’re getting real value every time they shop with us.  

“These price cuts mean customers can spend less on the essentials and still enjoy the great quality Morrisons is known for.”
