Deliveroo has today launched Morrisons More loyalty scheme on its app for grocery customers, becoming the first app to integrate the scheme into its platform.

From today, Deliveroo customers will now be able to link their Morrisons More accounts with the app to earn points on purchases made from the supermarket.

Once a customer has saved 5,000 More points, they will receive a “Morrisons Fiver” which Deliveroo said “can be redeemed on a future shop in Morrisons supermarkets or on the website”.

Deliveroo customers can link their Morrisons ‘More Card’ to earn points through each purchase

Customers making purchases on the Deliveroo app will now be given the option to input their Morrisons More loyalty card number at the checkout, which will then be saved to the account for future orders.

Morrisons director of online Charlotte Exell said: “We’re delighted to be able to provide even more value and flexibility to our loyalty card holders by offering them More Points when they order from our supermarkets on Deliveroo—we want to help them benefit from their More Card wherever they shop with us.”

Deliveroo vice president of new verticals Suzy McClintock said: “We are very excited to be the first delivery platform to roll out Morrisons More, ensuring our customers can access even more value and rewards on top of the great selection and convenience this partnership already provides.”

Customers will earn the same amount of Morrisons More points through making purchases on Deliveroo as they do in supermarkets or on the website.
