The chief executive at fashion retailer White Stuff has announced her departure.
White Stuff chief executive Jo Jenkins is stepping down from her role at the business after seven years to âpursue new opportunitiesâ.
Jenkins was named chief executive at White Stuff in April 2018, having previously spent more than a decade working at Marks & Spencer, and has led the fashion retailer through a period of âsignificant growth and transformationâ.
White Stuff said in a statement that under Jenkinsâ leadership the business has undergone a business transformation, repositioned itself as a âleading multi-channel lifestyle brandâ and to date is reaping the reward of âsustained sales and profit growthâ alongside a record number of new customers.
The news follows the acquisition of White Stuff by TFG London last October, which saw it join a portfolio of other fashion brands including the likes of Hobbs, Whistles and Phase Eight.
White Stuff said today that Jenkinsâ leadership throughout the period since acquisition ensured a âsuccessful transitionâ and âcontinuityâ for its staff, customers and partners alike.
Jenkins said of her departure: âLeading White Stuff for seven years has been an incredible privilege, and I am proud of what our team has achieved together. With the acquisition by TFG London complete and this unique brand poised for its next phase of growth, now is the right time for me to step aside.
âI am confident that White Stuff will continue to thrive, supported by fantastic and motivated teams, and under TFG Londonâs experienced stewardship.â
White Stuff said its existing senior leadership team will work together to continue driving the brandâs growth strategy in the interim period until a successor is named.
