The Oasis and Warehouse group has bought menswear brand The Idle Man for an undisclosed sum as part of its plan to branch out into the menswear market.
The Idle Man was launched in 2014 by former Asos menswear buyer Oliver Tezcan and consists of three labels – Idle Projects, its premium label, The Idle Man, its fashion label and T.I.M its basics range.
Tezcan will continue to manage the brand and will report directly to group chief executive Hash Ladha. The Oasis and Warehouse group boss said: “This is an exciting acquisition for us.
“We can bring scale to The Idle Man’s proposition as well as infrastructure support, and the brand allows us to tap into the growing demand for fashionable menswear through a credible and well-established brand.
