Fashion retailer Crew Clothing is planning to open “at least” 20 stores in 2025 following a surge in sales over Christmas.

Crew Clothing remains ‘committed to driving their omnichannel model’ which delivers positive results

Crew Clothing reported a 45% increase in sales over the Christmas period year on year thanks to “the strength of the brand’s multichannel approach” including its online, stores and third-party offerings.

Crew Clothing said its ecommerce demand surged 70% during the period while store estate net sales were also up 22%.

The fashion retailer hailed the success of its third-party partners during the period which includes the likes of Marks & Spencer and John Lewis.

During the fourth quarter, like-for-like sales rose 17% and Crew Clothing also noted a “record-breaking” Black Friday sales period which saw sales up 23% between Black Friday and the end of December.

Crew Clothing said it remains committed to “driving every aspect of the omnichannel model” as it continues to drive “positive results” for the business. 

The retailer noted its investment in the high street during 2024 as it opened 15 new stores and confirmed plans to open a further “at least” 20 this year.
