Mariah Carey causes pandemonium
The guest appearance at HMV of R&B diva Mariah Carey caused hysteria on Sunday, bringing London's Oxford Street to a standstill.

The scantly clad singer arrived at the music retailer to sign copies of her latest album as the 5,000-strong crowd chanted her name and police officers fought to hold back the thronging crowds.

Contrary to plans, the pop star arrived in a London black cab rather than a helicopter. She told reporters: 'I had to arrange my own transport.'
