How two leading fashion etailers have dealt with falling revenue, and how the UK pays compares to the rest of Europe

At present, one-fifth of in-person spending already uses digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and the like. That puts the UK about midway among its European peers. Nordic countries, Norway (30%) and Sweden (28%) are more likely than us to use their phones to pay.
